Our Story …

We are really pleased to announce that we are taking part in Cancer Cruise happening on the 3rd December 2023 in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.


Part of the participation is that all teams have to fundraise for Cancer Council. You can raise more than that of course so you can set your own target and have some fun, you will be surprised how much you can achieve.


These funds go to Cancer Council and we are extremely proud to be doing our part to support such a worthy charity. The fundraising is the hard part, so any donation you can give is greatly appreciated. Please make sure to follow our progress via this page and the blog post below.


As being a survivor of Cancer myself I have chosen to take part in this Cancer Cruise to help make a difference. No matter how small or big your donation is it all goes to a good cause to help educate, prevent and treat those fighting cancer. Please see the link to donate to Team #99. Here's what I'm doing …

Cancer Cruise is a new initiative from Box Rallies who are behind Shitbox Rally and Mystery Box Rally. Box Rallies has raised over $39 million dollars in the past 13 years, for cancer research, which makes Box Rallies and those that participate in our projects the largest community-based fundraisers for Cancer Council nationally.

Cancer Cruise is a family day out for participants in their Shitbox, Mystery Box or other favourite vehicles.

The cruise is not a race – it’s a fun, easy going drive to lunch, where teams will be able to socialise with each other, talk about the rallies and why they are fundraising for cancer research, many brought together after experiencing cancer themselves or seeing cancer impact family and friends.

The Impact, Outcomes & Charity

Cancer Cruise is a dedicated fundraising event for cancer research with funds going to Cancer Council.

Cancer Council is one of the largest non-government funders of cancer research in Australia. We conduct and fund research studies across all cancers and all stages of the cancer journey.

Thanks to the community funds raised such as Cancer Cruise we can fund world-class research that reduces the impact of cancer for everyone.

$59 million over the past 15 years has been raised by Box Rallies to date, supporting ground-breaking projects such as:

  • A research study to develop a vaccine that protects against lymphoma cancers.
  • A research trial to standardise international guidelines on melanoma removal.
  • A research grant to revolutionise the treatment of pancreatic cancer.

These projects wouldn’t be possible without your support.
